ITCCCA Coaching Grant Information

The Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches’ Association is extremely excited to be able to offer coaching grants to better serve our members’ passion to help our student athletes.   In order to promote enthusiasm and improvement, we are now offering grants to attend specific USATF or USTFCCCA courses.

The Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches’ Association was founded in 1962 and formed with several goals in mind:  to promote interest, enthusiasm, and improvement in Track and Field and Cross Country in Illinois; to provide education and opportunities for involvement in our association by methodology; to promote, publicize, and recognize the achievements of area coaches; to provide a vocal representation of our area student-athletes and coaches regarding rule implementation and modification; and to work with and support the Illinois High School Association.

WHO CAN APPLY AND WHAT ARE THE EVALUATION CRITERIA?

Any coach that works at a middle or high school coach in Illinois who is an ITCCCA member* can apply for the grant.  ITCCCA will be awarding up to $950 to each coach that is selected to attend either the Level 1/TFTC course through USATF or USTFCCCA or the weeklong courses in the summer.  Coaches will be reimbursed after sending their receipt as well as their completion paperwork of the course from either USATF or USTFCCCA.
