Shilpi Havron
Shilpi Havron is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with Ivy Rehab in St. Charles. She has been a runner since childhood. She came to a career in physical therapy due to an injury she sustained in high school as she wanted to continue to run but she also wanted to help others achieve that goal.
She obtained her degree from the University of Southern California in 2002 and spent the last 15 years seeking information/knowledge to hone her ability to treat the running athlete.
She is a Pose certified coach and uses that technique along with her PT background as well as knowledge from research to effectively rehabilitate the injured runner. That said, when it comes to working on running form specifically, it is not just about injuries but about performance as well as the potential for injury.
Shilpi hopes to keep runners running not only through treatment in the clinic but also through education and forums such as the ITCCCA clinic.
