Jeff Rebholz is entering his third year as the throwing coach at Illinois State University. In spite of a shortened 2020 campaign, Jeff coached two freshmen putters–Amiri Buchanan and Joe Boyers– to spots on the ISU all time top ten list. In 2019, Jeff guided discus thrower Sydney Laufenberg to a fourteenth-place finish at the NCAA Championships. Sydney will seek to build on that success as she completes her eligibility during the 2021 outdoor season. Prior to landing at ISU, Jeff coached at Towson, where his athletes broke four of the six school records in the throwing events. Jeff began his coaching career at Carthage College, and in 2016 was named Midwest Region Assistant Coach of the Year.
