My name is Shane Gillespie and I have been the head XC and Track Coach at East Aurora for the last 12 years.
I am reaching out the coaching community about a former runner of mine. David was struck by a car as he was pushing his own disabled car on December 15. He has lost his right leg and has had 5 major surgeries on his left. He has recently been moved to a rehabilitation hospital, but has a very long road ahead of him.
