Part-Time Throws Coach – Track & Field

St. Francis High School is seeking a paid, part-time Throws Coach to support our boys’ and girls’ track & field program during the upcoming season.
Position Overview
This role focuses on technical instruction and strength development for shot put and discus athletes. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on coaching, athlete development, and working within a collaborative high school coaching staff.
Time Commitment
1–2 afternoons per week, flexible
On-site training between 3:15–5:00 PM
Schedule can be adjusted based on availability and season needs
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical coaching for shot put and discus
Design and oversee a lifting/strength program specific to throwing events
Support athlete development across experience levels
Collaborate with the head coach and event staff to align training goals
Promote a positive, disciplined, and encouraging team culture
