High Jump Coaches Needed For IHSA State Meets

The IHSA has agreed to designate an area for coaches to WATCH and COACH the high jump at the state meet–it will be by the hospitality tent close to the entrance for the field events. While it is NOT on the field, it is a place for coaches to actually watch the event instead of fighting spectators and ivy for a place to watch and coach. High jump coaches will be given a pass to enter the area and will need the pass to gain access to the area.

Here is the rub–while it is not the perfect spot (yet), it is a step in the right direction. Athletes will benefit from this and coaches should be able to see their athletes jump.

ITCCCA has agreed to try and help staff the area and we need people to sign up to check passes for access to the area. PLEASE HELP US OUT–if you are interested in signing up for a time for either the boys or girls state meet, it would be a great opportunity for ITCCCA to have a voice in future change.
Please consider volunteering some time–fill out the google form link that is below to sign up.
